DESCRIPTION
EVP introduced factory ECU-controlled 2-Step launch control to SxS racing. This steering wheel launch button kit adds a race-ready option for 2017+ X3 models with EVP 2-Step Launch Control.
- Choose brake or thumb-button activation for launch control.
- Thumb activation reduces the small movement needed to release the button versus lifting off the brake. This can save ~.1 second or more on reaction times. Every microsecond counts; winners and losers are sometimes separated by .001 seconds.
- Includes two carbon fiber mounting faceplates for OEM and EVP.MOde steering wheels. Works with optional Quick-Release Hub Adapter.
- Light, durable faceplates with streamlined shape to avoid driver interference.
- Kit also includes launch button harness, dash-mounted rocker switch to toggle Button/Brake engagement, wiring, and hardware.
