MG1 ECU Unlock

Bosch MG1C ECUs use a 2048 RSA key. EVP developed a solution to unlock the security module so we can perform bench power flashes. Once unlocked, future flashes can be done with an EVP CodeShooter or Maptuner device without returning the ECU.

  • Speed limits raised; torque limits removed in low & high gear
  • Fan on/off temps adjusted; rev limits increased
  • Smoother power delivery and improved throttle response
  • Race Start enabled; integrated 2-foot braking
  • Based on latest Can-Am software; compatible with OEM catalytic converter & muffler

Big injector notes

  • Stage 4 X100 includes 3 EVP/Bosch 1000cc flow-matched injectors, EVP injector adapter plug, and EVP ECU power flash.
  • Stage 5 X85 includes the same injectors/adapters plus a high flow direct-replacement fuel pump. E85 tunes require ~30% more fuel.
  • OEM pump ~155 liters per hour; EVP pump 265 liters per hour and provides overhead for larger turbo kits up to 350 horsepower.
