DESCRIPTION
WORLD'S BEST (WB) BELTS
- Manufacturing & quality certifications: ISO-14001, ISO-9001, IATF-16949.
- 3rd‑generation heavy‑duty, high‑twist Aramid Fiber cord for high tensile loads.
- Higher shock‑load rating; designed for very high‑power machines.
- Increased top‑cog pressure design: more sidewall rigidity, prevents top‑cog bowing, maintains rotational flexibility.
- Bottom cog: high‑modulus rubber compound (BZX1) for improved heat resistance and dissipation; impregnated with short Aramid fibers for better sheave adhesion and lower belt temperature.
- Latest bottom‑cog geometry for rotational efficiency at full shift; precision ground sidewall angle (SCUFFING) for smooth engagement and lower operating temperature.
- Aramid cord wraps over bottom cogs (vs polyester) for added bottom‑cog strength and increased cord pop‑out resistance.
EXTREME (EX) BELTS
- High‑temperature DUMAX compound for strength, flexibility, and heat resistance.
- Ultra‑strong Aramid Fiber cord; very high tension capacity without stretch.
- Higher strength than OEM/standard aftermarket belts; improved belt squeeze for tuning and reduced slippage.
- Maximum under‑cord stiffness for rotational efficiency and cooler running; built for high temps, extreme abuse, and shock loads.
FITMENT
2006+ Outlander 1000 / 850 / 800 / 650 / 570 / 500 (all models)
- Replaces OEM #'s 715900212 / 715000302 / 422280364 for the OG Maverick, Commander, Outlander & Renegade Models
INSTRUCTIONS
Warranty
Limited Belt Warranty Coverage
- Covered against defects in material or workmanship under normal use.
- Warranty period: 1 year from date of purchase.
- Valid only for belts purchased from EVP or an authorized dealer.
- Replacement belts assume remaining warranty period from original purchase.
- Claims must be submitted within 30 days of discovering the defect; belt may need to be returned for inspection at customer expense.
What Is Not Covered
- Improper use or operating conditions.
- Clutching issues or other mechanical malfunctions.
- Heat damage, glazing, or normal belt wear.
- Improper installation or break‑in.
Drive Belt Failures (types & status)
- Hour Glassing — narrow/worn center; caused by spinning drive clutch with stationary belt. Status: Not Warrantied.
- Cord Pop Out — center cord separates; cause: improper bonding. Status: Warrantied.
- Flex Crack — caused by improper bending/flexing. Status: Not Warrantied.
- Glazing — shiny, overheated sides from slippage or improper clutching/abuse. Status: Not Warrantied.
- Tearing — belt hit an object or tore from clutch issues, bowing, or extreme use. Status: Not Warrantied.
- Delamination — layer separation from improper bonding. Status: Warrantied.
- Broken Belt — shock loading, prolonged overdrive, excessive engagement RPM, improper gear/drive setup, or jammed drivetrain. Status: Not Warrantied.
- Disintegration — belt separated into pieces from prior damage modes or restricted clutch housing airflow; excessive heat build‑up is primary cause. Status: Not Warrantied.
