Evolution Powersports redesigned a CVT drive belt for greater durability, reliability and power transfer.
- New synthetic rubber compound, advanced cord technology, and precision‑machined face/sidewall angles.
- Selected after testing six compounds; chosen compound outperformed the others.
- Dyno tested on 600+ horsepower pulls and run in the BITD Vegas to Reno endurance race — ran the full race without failure.
- Lasted up to TWO TIMES the life of OEM and baseline competitors on the Mainline. Recorded the lowest belt temperatures seen in a desert race.
- Average gain of 10-12 WHP versus OEM and other tested compounds; more power to the hubs with less slippage and heat.
- Precision‑machined sidewall angles improve launch acceleration and belt-to-sheave contact for lower temperatures and better power transfer.
- Ultra‑strong Aramid cord with high twist for shock absorption and load capacity. Reinforced top and bottom cog designs resist cupping, deformation and delamination.
- Tested and proven on EVP race X3s and RZRs (tested to 800 crank HP).
EVP DISCLAIMER: Alpha Belts will not cure clutching issues. High boost/high rpm drag launches need careful clutch calibration. Alpha belts typically require less belt squeeze in both primary and secondary than other belts.
