DESCRIPTION

EVP Shift-Tek belt deflection adjuster lets you set belt deflection (tension) between the primary and secondary clutches.

Why use it?

• Some X3s have trouble shifting from park to drive, causing gear grind or stretching the shift cable. Reducing tension smooths shifts and cuts idle belt drag and belt temps.
• Drag racers cannot vary belt tension with the OEM auto-tensioner. This adjuster lets you modify shift patterns using belt tension, avoiding the need for a billet secondary.

The stock X3 secondary is durable and can be used with this kit to gain adjustability needed for drag racing.

• For OEM secondary and any EVP Shift-Tek Helix (not compatible with OEM helix)
• Fine-tunes belt tension for smoother shifts and better tuning, especially for drag launches
• Allows starting in a higher gear to limit takeoff over‑rev with launch control
• Reduces dragging-secondary issues to ease gear changes
